Get Paid to Visit Taiwan

Taipei 101

Taiwan has taken tourism incentives to a whole new level! To boost visitor numbers and showcase its incredible attractions, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau has launched Taiwan Luckyland. This exciting initiative allows tourists (non-taiwan residents) to win money simply for visiting the country. The program lottery off 500,000 vouchers worth NT$5,000 each ($162 USD) to lucky travelers, and the best part? It's available from now through June 2025 or until they run out. In this blog post, I'll share my experience with this amazing opportunity and provide you with all the details you need to participate.

Applying for the voucher is easy. You can easily apply up to 7 days before your arrival in Taiwan. Simply click the link HERE to apply. Fill in the necessary information, submit your application, and cross your fingers for good luck! Remember that availability is limited, so it's best to apply as soon as possible to secure your chance of winning.

After applying, you will get a QR code to scan upon arrival. After you exit the baggage area, go find the Taiwan Tourism Bureau’s orange booth to find the Ipads to scan your QR code. After scanning, you’ll activate a lantern game where you’ll pick a lantern for a chance to win the lottery. Johnny and I were both fortunate enough to be among the recipients of these fantastic vouchers. The vouchers come in different forms, and we were given the iPass card. However, if you have the option, we highly recommend choosing the easy card, as it is accepted at a wider range of locations throughout Taiwan.

If you're planning a trip to Taiwan, don't miss out on this incredible opportunity. NT$5,000 is a lot of money and can probably cover all your MTR rides for your entire trip. Good luck, and we hope you have an amazing time in Taiwan!
